On 12 June 2024, members and guests experienced the allure of wine pairing—an exclusive and engaging culinary journey that elevates dining to new heights. Mr Mario Zocca, managing director of Wine List Asia and a wine expert from Verona with a *WSET® Level 3 Diploma, guided them through an Italian Wine-Pairing Dinner at Suntec City Guild House. His profound expertise and passion for Italian wines enriched the evening, creating a truly memorable occasion for all attendees.

The participants savoured a five-course dinner crafted by NUSS’ chefs, each sip enhancing the flavours of meticulously crafted dishes, creating a symphony of tastes that tantalise the palate. Highlights included the elegant Sartori – Prosecco Rosé BRUT “Love Story” DOC NV paired with Puff Pastry Chicken Gratin and the robust Colomba Bianca – Pass Nero D’Avola DOC 2022 complementing grilled Australian rack of lamb and BBQ beef ribs.
As the evening concluded with Apple Strudel and Raisin Cigar Rolls with Rum Sabayon, paired with the aromatic Omina Romana – Moscato Passito IGT 2013, participants were delighted by the curated menu and wine selections showcasing Italy’s rich wine culture.
