On 23 August 2024, the NUSS 70th Anniversary Charity Golf event at Sentosa Golf Club, part of our year-long celebrations themed “Enduring Ties and Building Legacies,” was filled with camaraderie on the greens and concluded with a celebratory dinner, graced by Minister of Education Mr Chan Chun Sing as the Guest of Honour.
NUSS President Mr Tong Hsien-Hui presented a cheque for $777,000 to Professor Aaron Thean, NUS Provost & Deputy President, and Mr Seah Cheng San, Chairperson of the Alumni Student Advancement Committee. These funds, exceeding our target, will support the NUSS Bursary Fund, helping deserving students and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
As we commemorate our 70th anniversary, the success of this Charity Golf event reaffirms our dedication to education and community support. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the NUSS Golf Section, as well as to all donors and supporters, for their unwavering commitment to building a lasting legacy for future generations.
