The picturesque Rancamaya Golf & Country Club and Bogor Raya Golf Club set the stage for the 10th ASEAN Universities Alumni (AUA) Friendship Golf Tournament over two days in August. The event showcased exceptional sportsmanship and camaraderie, reinforcing the strong bonds that have driven its success over the past decade.
The unwavering support and dedication of esteemed friends from PAUM1, CUAA2, and ILUNI UI3 were crucial in making this event a grand success year after year. This year was particularly noteworthy as it marked the first time ILUNI UI had hosted the event since joining in 2018.
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), comprising ten nations, thrives on the strength of alumni friendships that enhance regional ties and foster economic collaboration. By promoting understanding and cooperation, ASEAN contributes to peace, stability, and ongoing economic integration.
Over the past decade, the tournament not only allowed participants to pursue their passion for sports but also played a key role in building bridges and fostering a vibrant network. Looking ahead, the community remains committed to continuing this tradition, upholding the spirit of sportsmanship and unity, and anticipating many more years of friendship and collaboration within the ASEAN alumni community.
