The National Day Awards (NDA) annually honour individuals for their significant contributions to Singapore and its community. This year, we proudly congratulate Mr Hsieh Fu Hua and Professor Tan Eng Chye, esteemed NUSS members recognised with these prestigious awards.
Mr Hsieh Fu Hua, Chairman of NUS and NUHS, has received The Distinguished Service Order for his exceptional contributions to education, healthcare, and the arts. Under his leadership since 2017, NUS has achieved global prominence, and NUHS has made strides in advancing community health.
NUS President Professor Tan Eng Chye has been awarded The Meritorious Service Medal for his transformative impact on education. Since 2018, he has elevated NUS’ global ranking and expanded its research and innovation capabilities.
We also extend our congratulations to NUSS members who received NDA awards this year. These accolades reflect their outstanding dedication and service to the nation.
