The NUSS-NUS Mentorship Programme for the Academic Year 2024/2025 officially launched to a resounding welcome, with 124 mentors and 223 mentees embarking on this enriching journey together. This year marks the 12th cycle of the programme, which has steadily grown since its inception in 2012. Over the years, nearly 600 mentors and 1,800 mentees have benefitted from this initiative, reflecting our steadfast commitment to nurturing the next generation of NUS graduates.
One of the programme’s greatest strengths is the diverse range of industries represented by our mentors. From healthcare and finance to emerging fields like sustainability and ecotourism, experienced professionals are ready to provide tailored guidance to help mentees achieve their career goals.
The mentorship programme focuses on three key objectives: Holistic Development, where mentees gain insights from seasoned professionals that extend beyond the classroom; Career Readiness, aiding students in their transition into the workplace while honing vital skills; and Networking, fostering connections within the graduate community for future opportunities.
Mr Tong Hsien-Hui, President of NUSS, has participated as a mentor in four cycles.
